About Us
The Guy R. Brewer United Democratic Club is a historic political and civic organization that has served the people of Southeast Queens and the greater New York community for more than 71 years. Founded at the intersection of Foch Boulevard and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard — formerly known as New York Boulevard — the organization later established its longtime home on 197th Street and Linden Boulevard in St. Albans, where it continues its legacy of civic engagement, political advocacy, and community leadership.

For decades, the Club has played a significant role in shaping the political landscape of Queens and beyond, helping to support and elect leaders committed to fairness, equal opportunity, justice, and public service. Throughout its history, the organization has remained deeply rooted in the belief that democracy works best when communities are informed, organized, and actively involved in the political process.

Brewer United Democratic Club has consistently stood against discrimination, inequality, and injustice while advocating for policies and leadership that expand opportunity for working families, seniors, young people, and underserved communities.
